"The home is the first and most effective place for children to learn the lessons of life: truth, honor, virtue, self-control; the value of education, honest work, and the purpose and privilege of life. Nothing can take the place of home in rearing and teaching children, and no other success can compensate for failure in the home." -David O. McKay

Farewell to Christmas
I love my Christmas decorations and for how long it takes me to put all of it up I think I should get to enjoy it for about 3 months. But since that's not going to fly I am STILL staring at a pile of Christmas decor(and it isn't going to put itself away). Just about the time I think the stack is getting more manageable I come across a new treasure trove of Christmas paraphernalia. If I were a smart woman I would be working on transferring all of it to the basement while all my "helpers" are in bed, but instead here I sit blogging. It will still be there tomorrow (but hopefully not beyond).
Goodbye Christmas baubles...I will see you again in 11 months. You will be missed!
